For developers
The framework behind Cathexis is published openly. You can read it, build on it and cite it, under each work’s licence.
The Cathexis Somatic Ontology
The CSO is the framework written so a computer can read it. It names twenty-nine body zones, twenty sensation qualities and the sixteen territories. It also describes how they relate to each other.
It comes as OWL, Turtle and JSON-LD. It’s registered on BioPortal as CXSO, because the name CSO was already taken there.
A reference server
The mcp-somatic repository on GitHub holds the CSO vocabulary, the 16 territory profiles and guidance for AI agents.
The Cathexis 3.0 app doesn’t include the MCP server. The server is available on GitHub, and it is planned for a later update.
mcp-somatic on GitHubHow to cite
